There are a variety of positions available at Alpine Valley each season. Take a look at the descriptions below for more information. All employees are required to be available to work all shows. Shows are typically on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays. For the 2018 season, there will be 5 shows. See our Show Calendar for the exact dates.

For Workers Ages 15 & Over

Parking
Parking Personnel are are responsible for directing traffic to a final parking space and assisting patrons in the parking lots.

For Workers Ages 16 & Over

Ushers
Ushers are located in the theatre and handle the majority of patron questions and assist patrons in finding their seats. Ushers are responsible for checking tickets of patrons and general guest relations.

Ticket Takers
Ticket takers are responsible for scanning/checking tickets at our front gates and general guest relations.

Maintenance
Maintenance has two parts, the first being the weekly staff, the other being the day of show staff. Each are responsible for everything from plumbing, electrical needs, landscaping, heating and cooling issues, irrigation systems and complicated lawn care, to flower planting, watering various areas of the property, office/facility cleaning and removing/collecting trash and recycling from various areas of the facility. Weekly works 20-40 hours per week, throughout the summer months. Day of show works show days and one to two days after each show.

For Workers Ages 18 & Over

Security
Security is responsible for public safety and theatre security.  Security personnel assist with customer relations inside the theatre and are responsible for general crowd control as well as ensuring that patrons are following theatre policies. Additional security personnel are deployed to the parking lots that surround the theatre as well as the perimeter of the theatre overnight between consecutive shows. Applicants must clear a background check.

Guest Services
Guest Service positions assist with patron questions, re-seating issues, are in charge of our party decks, and help other staff members throughout the theatre. In addition, Guest Services work in the parking lot, in the medical station, and inside the theatre.

Box Office
The box office positions are responsible for selling tickets on the day of show, handing out tickets at the “Will Call” window and assisting patrons with re-seat issues.

Merchandise
The Merchandise department consists of the rental of lawn chairs, collecting early entry fees,  limos/oversized vehicle parking sales, VIP/Premium parking sales, and ticket upgrades during events. Applicants must clear a credit and background check.

VIP Premium Seat Services
VIP staff is primarily responsible for the VIP Club, VIP Decks as well as the season ticket holders in the pavilion. Additional positions are added at exterior entry points and a few miscellaneous positions as needed. These positions include personnel handing out promotional brochures, VIP Club Entrance, VIP seating entrance, and in the VIP parking lot. Must have ability to be on their feet for long hours.

900 Junior
900 Junior is a position that works with law enforcement on the grounds.  You must be currently enrolled in a college level Criminal Justice program to be considered for this position.

Off Duty Police Officers (900’s)
Assist security and on-site, on-duty law enforcement on the Alpine Valley grounds.  You must currently be an active or retired law enforcement officer to be considered for this position.

Production

Production Staff
The production staff includes runners and catering assistants. Catering applicants must be 18 years of age or older with previous food service experience. Runner applicants must be 21 years of age or older with a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, insurance and a clean driving record. Applicants must clear DMV, Credit and Background checks. Pay starts at $10.00 per hour. Positions are available on show days only. Please e-mail a resume or letter of interest outlining your qualifications and past experience.

Stage Crew
The stage crew includes stagehands, truck loaders, climbing riggers and ground riggers. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour. Applicants must have previous stage experience. Positions are available on show days only. Please e-mail a resume or letter of interest outlining your qualifications and past experience.

Concessions & Vending

Hourly Employees and Fund Raising
Legends is currently hiring hourly employees for the summer. It’s also a great way for your non profit organization to raise funds. Dance studios, club teams, sororities, and civic organizations are just a few examples of existing groups raising funds. All concession employees must be 18 years or older.
